This hotel was set in a remote area very close to Rakaia Gorge and the Rakaia River, the hillside overlooking Rakaia Gorge, and two lovely golf courses. Apartment with balcony views, toiletries, for instance was ready when we arrived. Spent here 1 lovely day and would stay here again.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Totally thoroughly enjoyable stay on the weekend. Gorgeous location, exceptional views of the mountains and very good staff. Extremely spacious and modern rooms with excellent facilities. A wide array of supplies in the room: central heating, pay television and a microwave. Location really close to the South Island and Christchurch and other sights in the area too and the hillside overlooking Rakaia Gorge. Also, on mid towers mt hutt service staff...

Spent easter at a lovely lodge with outstanding views and great complementary facilities like a kitchen and BBQ. the location provided beautiful views of a nearby river, making for a peaceful and quiet atmosphere to relax in. the restaurant onsite hosted live music which was a great addition to dinner. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it all more!
The hotel was located in a very windy area which made for a noisy and uncomfortable sleep. Unfortunately, some of the room equipment and toiletries were outdated and the shower was held together with tape - a sign of poor maintenance.
